About me

I’m Rod Azevedo, a BizOps Manager with a deep passion for human-centric design, growth, analytics, and innovation. My journey in the tech industry began with building and selling InfoProp, a startup I scaled from the ground up to over 3,000 active users. This experience taught me the importance of understanding customer pain points and delivering impactful solutions.

I recently completed my MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where I led the Rotman Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Association (REVCA). In this role, I connected students with dozens of product managers, startup founders, and venture capital investors through speaking events and case competitions.

During my MBA, I had the opportunity to work with Manulife's Global Digital Transformation team, where I gained both strategic and product-related experience. Prior to this, in Brazil, I worked with leading tech companies in the real estate industry (proptechs), such as AoCubo and Grupo OLX, the latter being a leading online marketplace in Brazil, boasting 53 million monthly active users.

Outside of work, I like to play soccer, online strategy games, and board games. I’m also trying to level up my chess skills.
